Alexandria Jayne Pulfer

Alexandria is the founder of Yoga Deza. She is known for her ability to elevate intuitive and talented individuals into powerful leaders and transformative teachers. Originally from California, she was born into a family of healers, writers and entrepreneurs. As a young adult yoga found her as a tool for self development and general wellbeing. For many years after she used her practice as a way to balance a corporate career with heavy international travel and stress. Working in global business and practicing yoga in parallel. In 2013 she took a final sabbatical from work to open Yoga Deza, met her now husband and together they are raising two boys, Indra and Judah. A life she finds more rewarding every day, she shares more about her practices and family life on her personal blog, www.elevelmoon.com.

Alexandria is an IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist, 500 E-RYT, and holds B.S.B.A. in Business Economics.

Michael Pulfer

Married to Alexandria, Michael has played a major role in development and growth of the Yoga Deza Institute. Michael is an Ayurvedic-minded Chef, passionate about good food and good living. He was born is Switzerland and spent most of his childhood in Europe, then moved to the states in his teens and attended college in South Carolina. Studying marketing and following a business path in corporate sales as well, he and Alexandria connected on their search for a deeper meaning in life in 2013. Today he's still searching. Michael leads retreats and yoga events in the area while cooking and catering for spiritual and mindful events. You can find great recipes and more on his blog www.amanwhocooks.com

Michael is a 500 E-RYT and graduated from Business School at the University of South Carolina.

Cindi Cartwright

Cindi is a wealth of experience and knowledge. Teaching yoga in Arkansas longer than anyone else, we are honored to have her leading sessions and generating content. She has been practicing for over 40 years and teaches us about maintaining health for a lifetime. Rooted in her years of study through the Iyengar lineage, she contributes to our curriculums with session on rejuvenation through restorative yoga and understanding the traditional lineages of Iyengar yoga. She is also the only certified Relax + Renew Restorative Yoga Teachers in Arkansas. Students love her for the way she can practically explain complex processes and make them relevant to our daily practices of yoga.

A master massage therapist, Cindi is also a faculty member of Blue Cliff College of Massage.

Kristen Albertson

Kristen is the founder of Ashtanga Yoga Fayetteville and has been a mentor for Alexandria for many years. As a devoted teacher, student, wife and mom who has maintained service to the world through an influential professional career, she and Alexandria first met while both working at Walmart. Today Kristen is a Vice President of Global Ethics and Corporate Lawyer. Her work has enabled her to spend many months in India at a time over the years, immersing herself in traditional study. Rooted back to the masters of Ashtanga, Kristen's teachers have played a balance of spiritual and intellectual roles in her life. She offers a perspective on flow and incorporating devotional practices through our 200hr curriculum.

Kristen is a 200 RYT and currently advancing her personal studies through 500 RYT in New Orleans.

Dr. T.N. Nathan

Dr. Natasha Nathan practices medicine in Northwest Arkansas and lives with her family and two rescue dogs. She is a gastroenterologist who treats all general GI issues, ranging from abdominal pain, ulcers, to cancer.  After completing a Power program with the institute in 2017, she began contributing to program content development to fulfill her passions for uniting holistic and advanced medical care. She has a wonderful way of translating medical terminology for yoga teachers, providing the knowledge and confidence needed for yoga teachers to make a difference in our world and inspire health.

Dr. Nathan is a 200hr RYT and completed her fellowship in gastroenterology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2004.

Kyndal Saverse

Kyndal is a community activist and yoga teacher supporting the outreach aspects of our trainings. An AmeriCorps employee, she has spent time teaching kids, volunteering through the Access Yoga Foundation and loves helping beginners find their way with yoga. In our programs she specifically supports students completing their 6wk community Outreach Projects. She is a passionate student of Ayurveda, the science of health in Yoga, and loves sharing this practice with our student base.

Kyndal is a 500 RYT through the Institute.
